Hope Amelia Webb, age 88, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on March 30, 2008 at Sequoyah Pointe Living Center in Owasso, Oklahoma.

Hope was born on February 1, 1920 in Snake River, North Dakota to Arthur and Cora Violet (Snyder) Thurlow. She received her education in the Jay, Oklahoma school system and graduated from Jay High School in 1937. Hope and Gordon Webb were united in marriage on August 24, 1959 in Wagoner, Oklahoma.

Hope was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included cooking.

Survivors include one step-son, Greg Webb and his wife, Carolyn, of Spring Cheese, Connecticut; one daughter, Carol Ann Brownfield of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Kyle Brownfield and Kristie Starr; two step-grandchildren, Pam Taecken and Greg Webb; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, and one sister.

They totally left out her marriage to my grandfather, Oscar Otis Gibbon who was the father of Carol Ann Gibbons Brownfield. —Cathy Gibbons Reedy
