ELKHART - Robert E. Corrigan, 69, of Springfield, formerly of Elkhart, died June 25, 1999, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield.
His funeral was June 30 at Christ the King Catholic Church.
Burial was in Camp Butler National Cemetery. Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Corrigan was born April 28, 1930, in Macomb, a son of Emmett M. and Dorothy Huslon Corrigan. He married Betty Gurisco in El Paso. She survives. Also surviving are his mother, Dorothy Corrigan, Norcross, Ga.; one son, Michael T. (Missy) Corrigan, Greenbriar, Ark.; three daughters, Leigh Ann (Michael) Hanselman, and Caroline Fitzsimmons, both of Springfield; and Candace L. "Candy" (Brad) Powers, Chatham; one sister, Luan Corrigan, Norcross; and eight grandchildren.
