Notes

Note 1

Alice (Atwood?)

@mayflower passenger

Not to be confused with William's 1st wife, Elizabeth Wood (see, Wikipedia) or the Alice Atwood who married 1597 and is buried in Saint Andrew Churchyard, Devonport, Devon, England (see, p.LR98-CG9 and Find A Grave Memorial# 122614984). Although this Alice's maiden surname is often shown as "Atwood", no record has been found to prove this. But the known Alice Atwood (or Alice, daughter of Nicholas Atwood and Olive Harmen, had a younger brother, John, who was a leather merchant in London, where our Alice's husband, William was a shoemaker. Also, William named a "Goodman Atwood" in his will, further suggesting that she may have been an Atwood. For more, see, Ye Atte Wode annals, June 1928, p. 5 (linked in Sources; downloaded 16 April 2017, dvmansur).

From Wikipedia, "William Mullins (Mayflower Passenger):

William Mullins' wife Alice and son Joseph are believed to have died sometime after the departure of the Mayflower for England on April 5, 1621 and before the arrival of the ship Fortune in mid-November 1621. William was buried in Coles Hill Burial Ground, Plymouth, probably in an unmarked grave as was common in those early days. His wife Alice and son Joseph died sometime later in 1621 and were also buried in Coles Hill Burial Ground. The family is memorialized on the Pilgrim Memorial Tomb, Coles Hill, as "William Mullins, Alice his wife and Joseph their son."
