Mrs. Mary A. Mustain died at her home in this city Saturday evening at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 22 days. Death was attributed to influenza.

Mary Ann Arnott was born March 23, 1845 at Blandinsville, Illinois. Her mother died when she was but two years of age, and her father passed away when she attained the age of nine. Following the death of her parents, she made her home with an uncle. She was married to John David Mustain December 8, 1864. The couple moved to Maryville, Missouri in 1868 where they resided on a farm until three years ago last spring when they moved to Yuma. A short time later her husband passed away. Four children were born to this union all of whom survive. they are Lawrence F. of Burdette, Colorado, Luther A. of Yuma, William A. of Independence, Kansas, and Mrs. Mary Edna Fink of Wilcox, Missouri.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning, Rev. A. J. Waller officiating. All of the children, with the exception of William A., were present. The remains were laid to rest in Yuma cemetery by the side of the husband.
