Solomon was born on 10 OCT 1765 in New Jersey, Connecticut or Virginia, the son of John Sharp and Anne Dooley.

He died on 20 MAR 1845 in Lees Creek, Clinton County, Ohio USA.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Rachel Masters, who he married in ABT 1787. The place has not been found. Their six known children were Mary "Dolly" (1794-1835), William (1790-1860), Sarah (>1796-1826), Keziah (1795-?), James (c1805-?) and Peter (<1788-?).

His second wife was Rebecca Stookesberry, who he married on 22 JUL 1813. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Elizabeth (1814-?), George (1815-?) and Silas (1818-?).

He migrated to Ohio from Mason County, Kentucky around 1810. Solomon was an original settler of the land that the cemetery sits on.
