Samuel bass was a cooper and husbandman. He served in King Philip's War and was listed on June 24th, 1675, as being of Captain Johnson's Company. he received a Naragansett grant of land.
He was a deacon in Old South Church in Braintree. He was married to Mary Adams about 1693.
