Leonard or Lenard (“Len”) Graves, b. May 1834 (GA), d. 9 July 1918 (Springfield, Lane Co., OR). He left Arkansas as a young man with sister Adaline and brother-in-law John Phillips, settled in Texas for a while, and followed them to Washington state before 1890. Eventually moved to Springfield, OR where his sister and her 2nd husband lived. Bur. Laurel Hill Cem. (Springfield, OR). In the 1900 census when he lived with half-sister Adaline in Skagit Co., WA, he indicated his parents were born in NC.
