Cornelius was born about 1655 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, the son of Cornelius Waldo and Hannah Cogswell.
He has died but the date and place are unknown.
His wife was Faith Peck, who he married in ABT 1683. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Cornelius (1684-?), Jonathan (1684-?), Elizabeth (1686-?), Rachel (1690-?) and Judith (1691-?).

No record of his birth found. Likely that he was second son of his parents due to the fact that his father in a deed refers to the land give out of his farm "unto my sons John Cornelius and Daniel Waldo". Also likely that he named them in order of birth.
