Obituary for Kimberly Welch

Kimberly Welch, 52, a resident of Miami passed away at her home on Monday, July 14, 2014. She was born on October 24, 1961 in Vinita, Oklahoma to James Dean and Jane (Pendley) Chase. She worked for many years and really enjoyed her job in sales and marketing for Channel 16 in Joplin, Missouri. She even at one time did a cooking segment on the morning show. She also worked for the State of Missouri in Family Services. She loved her family very much and could always make them laugh and had good wit. She loved to cook and was definitely a Kansas City Chiefs Fan. Mrs. Welch was preceded in passing by her parents James and Jane and one sister Susan Testerman.

Survivors include her daughter Kirsten Dickerson and her husband Jon of Raytown, Missouri, her two brothers Jim Chase of Austin, Texas and Sean Penn of Blue Springs, Missouri, three sisters Tammy Jarmon of Austin, Texas, Kelly Lindner of Wichita and Kathy Nelson of Lees Summit, Missouri .

Services will be 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Cooper Memorial Chapel at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
