Sarah Almeria Lindsay, 88, went to be with our heavenly Father Sunday, August 16, 2009, in her home in Conway. She was born June 14, 1921, in Conway, to the late Walter S. and Johnnie Tyler. 

Ms. Lindsay graduated from Arkansas State Teachers' College in 1942. After 41 years of teaching (20 at the University of Central Arkansas), she retired in1983. 

Almeria was a member and Sunday school teacher of Conway's First Baptist Church for most of her adult life.
