He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Elizabeth King, who he married in 25 APR 1822 in Randolph Co., NC. Their three known children were Richard (c1828-c1862), Benjamin Bennett (c1831-c1861) and Mary (c1832->1850).
His second wife was Nancy Woolever, who he married in 29 AUG 1852. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
