Leonard Graves (6) was born before 1773 in Randolph Co., NC, and died before 1850. He is listed on the 1815 tax list for Randolph Co. He married ‑‑‑‑‑‑. According to R‑50, Leonard’s son Richard has repeatedly been misidentified as the son of Richard and Hannah Fincher Graves and the two men mistakenly combined into one. Per R‑50, Martha Provost, now deceased, was “the most informed person on this subject.” She states that the Richard who married Agnes Graves and the Richard who married Nancy Vuncannon are two separate men who were first cousins.
