He died on 10 FEB 1862 in Ladoga, Montgomery County, IN USA.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Mary Jordan Callicott, who he married on ABT 1815. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Brantley (1829-?), John Franklin (1833-?) and Agnes (c1818->1878).
His second wife was Annis Rogers, who he married on 29 FEB 1840. The place has not been found. They had no known children.

Leonard Graves, Jr., (35) was born about 1796 in NC, and died in 1860[11]. According to R‑44, this Leonard is found to be Leonard Graves Esquire in the 1850 census and she was unable to identify his parents. He married Mary Jordan Calicott, daughter of Jordan Callicott and Agnes Callicott, about 1815 to 1817. She was born about 1797 in Randolph Co., NC, and died in 1866[12] in Montgomery Co., IN. Leonard and his family arrived in IN from Randolph Co., NC in 1836. This family was listed on the 1850 census as Leonard Graves Esq. in which two sons are listed: Brantley, age 21, Franklin, age 17, page 519, and the 1860 census, both in Scott Twp., Montgomery Co., IN. Also living with the family in 1850 were Lucy Mason, age 13, born NC, and Isaiah, age 11, born NC. (R‑44, R‑50, R‑208, R‑209)
