Her husband was Everett Avery Shaha, who she married on 13 DEC 1915. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Everett Earl (1918-2003), Juanita Doris (1924-2001), Genacile Dayle (1927-2012), Ruth Nadine (1930-) and Charles Virgil (1917-1917).

Edith moved with her parents to homestead near Sedan, NM in 1910.
She married Everett Avery Shaha on December 12, 1915.
She was preceded in death by a son, Virgil, who passed away away at 6 months of age.
Her parents were Allen and Ann Gibbons.
She is survived by husband; son, Everett Earl, Dumas, TX; 3 daughters: Juanita Smith, Dumas, TX; Genacile Jackson, Clayton, NM and Nadine Roberts, Encino, NM; sister, Mollie Stunkard, Tulsa, OK; 4 brothers: Oscar, Cowette, OK; Elmer, Jenks, OK; Harry, Tulsa, OK and Harl, Norman, OK.

Allen and Anna Lisa Gibbens lived in Prairie City, Indiana, until 1908. They moved to Custor County, Oklahoma, and later to Union County, New Mexico. There they took claims of land near Sedan, New Mexico. They remained there until 1925, when Allen's health began to fail so they moved near Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they lived with children until time of their death. In records prepared by a granddaugher, the Gibben's name changed to Gibbons for listing of Allen and Anna Lisa's children. Notes from Dorothy Stunkard, grandaughter of Allen and Anna Luther:
"My grandfather, Allen Gibbens, was born and raised in; Clay County, Indiana, near Brazil, at which place he resided for 56 years. He was united in marriage to Anna Lisa Luther. She was the daughter of Anderson and Julia Luther and was born in Ashboro, North Carolina, on January 11, 1860. During her childhood, she moved to Iowa and later to Indiana in Clay County. In 1908, they left Prairie City, Indiana and moved to Custer County, Oklahoma, and later to Union County, New Mexico taking up claims of land near Sedan, New Mexico. They remained there until 1925, at which time my grandfather's health failed and they came to near Tulsa, Oklahoma, and made their home with their children the remainder of their lives. The date of his death was January 23, 1927. Her death was 14 years later on January 22, 1941. They are both buried in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Tulsa, Oklahoma. Unto this union was born 13 children, all in Clay County, Indiana."
